Sockets Accept Intel Coppermine Processors

May 1, 2000

This line of terminators is designed for high-performance computers using multiple Intel Coppermine processors. The terminators fit in any unused processor sockets, terminating the high-speed bus lines of these systems to maintain optimum operation. The Coppermine series operates at 733 MHz with 256 KB of on-board L2 cache. The new terminators ensure that each data line or clock line sees the matched impedance to minimize reflections and other potential signal problems. Price is approximately $6 each.
