Powerful design editors and simulators are combined with sophisticated document and team management in Protel 99, giving design engineers the opportunity to both create and manage the design process from within a single application. This end-to-end pc board design suite is designed to be built around a core of design management and team collaboration technologies and includes three new technologies: SmartTool, SmartTeam and SmartDoc. Highlights of the new release include the ability to synchronize between design capture and board layout, enhanced mixed-signal circuit simulation, and the introduction of signal integrity analysis technology into the pc board editor.
