The Qseven Mobility starter kit embarks as a complete rapid prototyping package for battery-powered, embedded systems that includes compact, low-power computer modules and all necessary components. In addition to a Qseven carrier board and a 5.7" LVDS touch display, the starter kit includes a battery manager module with a smart battery and a cable set. The platform measures 95 mm x140 mm and packs a range of interfaces including six USB interfaces, an Ethernet port, plus LVDS and DVI display interfaces. The power supply is 19 Vdc and the carrier board also includes other standard interfaces such as a Mini PCI Express slot for WLAN expansions and a high-definition audio interface. Mass storage is via solid-state disk implemented on the Qseven CPU module and SATA and SD card interfaces on the carrier board. The Qseven Mobility starter kit will be available in April.
