Designed for integration into membrane keyboards, the RAFIX FS emergency stop switch has a mounting depth of 9.7 mm, making it suitable for combinations with short-travel keys on the same printed circuit board. The component consists of an actuator and a contact block. With a panel cut-out of 22.3 mm conforming to IEC 947, the actuator is fastened via a ring nut, making it water-jet proof. The design of the button protects it against interlocking and makes it tamper proof. The contact system provides two NC gold contacts for low voltages or silver contacts for mains voltage. Both versions are positive opening designs conforming to EN 609 47-5-1. RAFI GMBH & CO., Ravensburg, Germany. (0751) 89-1300.
