Housed in a tiny 3.5 mm x 6 mm x 1.2 mm ceramic case, the NKS6 crystal resonator is a rugged AT-cut crystal that's said to be 40% smaller than competitive designs. The device is especially well suited for surface mounting in extremely dense pc board applications, such as IDE disk drives, PCMCIA cards, portable PCs, and other handheld systems.Frequency range is 12 MHz to 40 MHz (fundamental) and 40 MHz to 100 MHz (3rd overtone) with operation from -20°C to 70°C. Temperature tolerance is ±10 ppm and ±30 ppm. Frequency tolerances can be specified at ±10, ±20, ±30 or ±50 ppm.
