In 0508 chip size, the MultiGuard line of bidirectional transient voltage suppression arrays uses two suppression elements in a single package that saves up to 50% of board space required for two 0603 discrete devices. This multilayer varistor technology provides bidirectional ESD protection, EMI attenuation and subnanosecond response time. Well-suited for I/O lines in portable equipment and programming ports in cellular telephones, the units offer standard working voltages of 5.6V, 9V, 14V or 18V at 0.10J of energy absorption capability. Capacitance range is 225 to 825 pF.
