High-precision pc boards with race edges and holes that are within 0.2 mils of design position are the result of a new level of accuracy in the ProtoMat 91s/HS. The system features a variable speed motor (up to 32,000 rpm) for smoother cutting of holes and traces, as well as increasing the life of tools. Tool change is said to be quicker and easier with the incorporation of a lever tool release and a collet mechanism that allows the tools to be changed with the flip of an arm.
