Taller versions of the Datec-Mobil-Box 'M' are now available to allow mechanical keyboards as well as larger pc boards and card readers to be used in the off-white or black plastic cases. Taller top panel moldings are used to create the extra height, with the moldings available with either a closed operating area or a window for standard LCDs (2 lines x 16 characters). A battery compartment lid is supplied with the case, with screw-in battery cradles available separately for fitting four 1.5V AA or one or two 9V cells.
