The Anritsu MT8820B-007/MT8815B-007 TD-SCDMA Measurement Hardware, MT8820B/MT8815B-001 W-CDMA Measurement Hardware, MX882007C TD-SCDMA Measurement Software, and MX882007C-001 TD-SCDMA Voice Codec options complement the inherent testing capabilities of the company's MT8820B/MT8815B radio communications analyzers. The options provide manufacturers with a fast, accurate, and efficient test tool for conducting call-processing, RF RX/TX, and voice tests of TD-SCDMA mobile terminals. In addition, adding the MX882007C-001 to the existing MT8820B-011/MT8815B-011 audio board supports end-to-end communications and audio tests to evaluate voice quality during the mobile terminal development phase.
The MT8820B/MT8815B's platform has basic TD-SCDMA functions built-in, suiting it well for call-processing and RF TX/RX tests of TD-SCDMA mobiles. The analyzers also incorporate TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode test functions. The MT8820B's unique Parallelphone measurement function supports simultaneous testing of two mobile units, suiting the analyzer for mass-production of TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode mobile phones. In addition to conducting TD-SCDMA measurements, the MT8820B/MT8815B verify performance of mobile terminals utilizing other technologies.
Covering a frequency range of 30 MHz to 2.7 GHz, an MT8820B can measure the major transmit and receive characteristics of W-CDMA/HSDPA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS, cdma2000 1X (IS-2000), cdma2000 1xEV-DO, and PHS/Advanced PHS terminals. Its dual independent RF, af, GPIB, and Ethernet connectors can be controlled separately. The MT8815B multi-system service test platform covers W-CDMA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS, cdma2000 1x/1xEV-DO, and AMPS with just one unit. The platform supports detailed failure diagnosis and evaluation of all the main mobile phone transmission/reception test items.
