The RSA6100A series spectrum analyzers employ DPX waveform image processor technology to transform volumes of real-time data to produce a live RF spectrum presentation that, reportedly, reveals previously unseen RF signals and anomalies. Live RF is made possible via a spectrum measurement rate that is said to be nearly 1,000 times greater than the fastest swept-spectrum and vector signal analyzers currently available. DPX waveform image processor technology displays a live spectrum by processing more than 48,000 spectrum measurements per second. To do this, DPX makes use of dedicated real-time hardware to process the incoming signal. Initial instruments in the series, the 6.2-GHz RSA6106A and 14-GHz RSA6114A, provide a simultaneous 110-MHz real-time bandwidth and a 73-dB SFDR. Both include an intensity-graded display to show the history of occurrence for dynamic signals and immediate feedback on signal variations over time. Other features include a measurement-centric interface with intelligent presets, 10.4" XGA touch screen, mouse/keyboard, conventional front panel controls, and support for Windows XP.
