These new two-inch thermal line printers include the CP205-RS, which has an integrated controller that provides plug-and-play functionality, and the MP205, touted as the smallest 2" thermal line printer on the market. Well-suited for POS and data terminals, inventory control, and portable applications, CP205-RS printer measures just 80 x 47 x 16 mm, including controller board, weighs 4.6 oz., and operates from 4.5 to 8.5 vdc (5 vdc for logic). It also features a 48-mm print width (384 dots/line) and a 50-mm/s print speed at 8.5V.MP205 measures a mere 68 x 41 x 15 mm, weighs only 1.2 oz., prints at a 60-mm/s speed, and uses a single flexible cable and has an ergonomic design.
