Transformers Double DSL Port Density

product pic

Designed to double DSL port density while extending bandwidth, the TKH7 transformers use about half the board space required for standard transformers. Applications using traditional EP10 and EP13 transformers average a port density of 24 ports per card.
The TKH7 transformers provide a 0.2 in.2 DSL line interface, allowing designers to implement up to 48 ports on a card using only 1.2 in.2 of board space. In addition, the transformers' ferrite cores are said to be optimized for low toroidal harmonic distortion and low parasitic elements to provide extended bandwidth reach.
