The PMC USCSI3 is an Ultra 160 SCSI host adapter on a PCI mezzanine card. At 160 MB/s and with CRC error checking, this controller is designed to deliver increased performance and high reliability. Well-suited for disk, tape, optical and other storage media applications, the PMC USCSI3 includes low voltage differential and single-ended operation and allows hardware configuration of terminator power and bus termination. Other attributes are a 64-bit/66 MHz PCI bus, 3.3V or 5V (universal) PCI signaling capability, front panel I/O access via a 68-pin SCSI-III connector and on-board diagnostic LEDs. The board contains an LSI Logic LSI153C1000R Ultra 160 SCSI controller and SCSI BIOS in onboard Flash memory. List price of the PMC-USCSI3 is $405. SBS TECHNOLOGIES INC., Albuquerque, NM.
