Ultra-Compact CPU Module Is Scalable To 400-MHz Clock

High-speed 10/100Base-T connectivity, CardBus expansion and connectivity to standard PC peripherals are all features of the NetCARD MicroPC, a 4" x 5.4" x 1.3" motherboard. The unit is suited for implementing compact network server appliances, portable test and measurement equipment, industrial PCs, imaging systems and other embedded applications.Based on the firm's Plug-n-Run System-On-A-Module, the NetCARD features a 10/100-Mbps Intel 82559 Ethernet controller, two Type II or one Type III PC Card slots, and a Type II ATA CompactFlash socket. Additional on-board I/O includes dual USB, dual serial, PS/2 and parallel ports; there also are LCD, CRT, floppy disk and 2.5" IDE hard disk interfaces. The board is based on a 333-MHz Intel Pentium II or 233-MHz MMX processor. It also includes a 256-bit NeoMagic AGP multimedia accelerator.
