For adding counter/timer capabilities to any PC or embedded system with a USB port, the Model USB-CTR-15 digital counter/timer board comes in a rugged industrial enclosure and features 15 independent 16-bit counter/timers. It is compatible with both USB 1.1 and 2.0 ports and is plug-and-play. The board employs five undedicated industry-standard 82C54 counter/timer chips, each of which provides three software-programmable 16-bit counters. The maximum allowable input frequency is 10 MHz. All I/O wiring connections are available via a 50-pin IDC connector or a removable screw terminal adapter board. A user-configuration adapter board is also included to aid in wiring the counters together. Other features include a PC/104 module size measuring 3.550” x 3.775” and mounting compatibility plus a free Linux (including Mac OS X) and Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/2003-compatible software package. Single unit price is $199 for the OEM version. ACCES I/O Products Inc., San Diego, CA. (858) 550-9559.
