The vWire virtual wire boards provide wireless virtual cables with simultaneous analog, digital, and serial connections between two or more sites located up to one mile apart. Alternately, they are viable for use within a large peer-to-peer PAN network mode to wirelessly access remote analog and digital signals from multiple vWire boards. Measuring 4” x 4”, the boards feature up to six optically-isolated digital inputs (30V) and relay outputs (60 Vac/dc/400 mA solid-state), two analog inputs (0 to 20 mA at 0 to 2.5V, 0V to 5V, and 0V to 20V), two analog outputs (0V to 5V), an RS-232 port, and a programmable output power up to 100 mW. Antenna options include a built-in chip or wire antenna or an external antenna. Other features include a transparent RS-232 serial cable mode and setup configuration software. Price is $299 each.
