Optimized for high-side operation in 1.5V to 5V load-switching applications, the SiP4280A and SiP4282 families of p-channel load switches integrate slew-rate control, which allows their output voltages to be ramped up gradually. In an SC-75 package, the SiP4282 offers a typical on-resistance of 140 mO at 5 V and 175 mO at 3V. For applications requiring lower on-resistance while using less board space, the SiP4280A in a 6-pin SOT-23 package specifies a typical on-resistance of 80 mO at 5V and 100 mO at 3V. The SiP4282-1 and SiP4280A-1 offer a slew-rate-limited turn-on time of 1 ms and the SiP4282-3 and SiP4280A-3 feature a turn-on time of 100 µs, plus a shutdown load discharge circuit that enables rapid turn-off of a load circuit when the switch is disabled.
