The Model 6822 dual-channel, 6U VMEbus signal acquisition and processing board employs a VXS interface that provides two 1.25-GB/s switched serial fabric ports to the VME backplane. With the aid of 12-bit a/d converters, the board samples at rates up to 215 MHz, supported with several interface options. Up to four front panel data port (FPDP II) connectors deliver output data at speeds up to 320 MB/s each. The board couples its a/d converters to two Xilinx Virtex-II Pro FPGAs, each supported by 16 MB of flash memory and 128 MB of SDRAM. Additionally, it is available in commercial, air-cooled, and conduction-cooled versions. Price starts at $8,995. For more details, contact Mario Schiavone at PENTEK INC., Upper Saddle River, NJ.
