VMEbus SBC Races Along At A Speedy 1.26 GHz

Titled the industryÕs first 1.26 GHz, single-slot VMEbus single-board computer (SBC), the VMIVME-7750 supports Pentium III processors up to 1.26 GHz with a 512 KB advanced-transfer cache and a 133 MHz system bus. The board is based on IntelÕs next-generation 815E chipset that integrates and AGP adapter. Other features of the SBC include dual Ethernet controllers supporting 10 BaseT and 100 BaseTX interfaces, a PMC expansion site, and support for up to 512 MB of PC-133 SDRAM. Up to 192 MB of bootable flash on a secondary IDE is available as an option. Operating system support includes Windows NT/2000, VxWorks, Solaris, QNX, LynxOS and Linux. Starting price is $2,973.
