Expanding the RoHS-compliant V-Bite RF edgeboard connector line is a sealed female Type N connector featuring a weather-tight, waterproof, and through-panel mount seal that makes it suitable for use with outdoor antennas and portable test equipment. Its coax connector employs a silicone ring on the inside of the panel or box to create a robust seal when the nut tightens from the front. Other features include a low profile measuring one half of the connector’s diameter, an impedance of 50 Ohms, brass/gold contacts, and consistent performance through 18 GHz. Outdoor applications include base stations, cellular antennas, broadcast, SATcom, microwave radio, radar, and portable test-and-measurement equipment. Pricing starts at $8.40 each/1,000.
