Multimedia features such as audio, video, camera and graphics can be incorporated into wireless phones using the MSM6150 and MSM6550 Enhanced Multimedia Platform chipsets. The fully integrated chipsets include modem and multimedia processor functionality on a single chip to enable development of mobile handsets that operate over 3G networks. The MSM6150 supports CDMA2000 R 1X standards, while the MSM6550 is suitable for CDMA2000 1X, 1XEV-DO and GSM/GPRS standards. Features include: up to 4-megapixel digital camera support; video recording at 15 fps under the Common Intermediate Format (CIF) and playback at 30 fps; graphics functionality at 100k triangles/second and 7 Mpixels/second; 3D sound and MP3/AAC/aacPlus audio support; a Mobile Display Digital Interface (MDDI); and integrated Bluetooth 1.2.
