This cellular/PCS embedded antenna for wireless handsets can also operate on the 2.4-GHz ISM band used for Bluetooth applications. This advancement in the firm’s Performa series of small-size, high-performance embedded antenna components now takes the place of the two cellular/PCS and 2.4-GHz band antennas formerly needed in such applications. The dual-band antenna has a gain of 0-1 dBi on the cellular/PCS band and 0 dBi on the 2.4 GHz band. Dimensions are 1.25" x 0.5" x 0.03" and weight is one gram.
