Exhibiting what may be the highest bandwidth available for this type device, the lead-free FHP3194 embarks as the industry's first 1.2-GHz 4:1 analog multiplexer. The device specifies an 800-MHz small-signal and 500-MHz large-signal, –3-dB bandwidth at G=2. It also specs a gain flatness of 0.1 dB to 90 MHz at 2 Vp-p. Other features include a slew rate of 2.2 kV/µs, disable/shutdown options, operation from a single 5V supply, and an output current of ±75 mA. Available in either a TSSOP-14 or an SOIC-14 package, price is $1.79 each/1,000.FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR, South Portland, ME. (800) 341-0392.
