For driving power transistors, induction heating, and industrial-inverter apps, the PS9505 and PS9305 series isolated gate drive optocouplers report high common mode transient immunity, high output currents, and fast switching times.

For driving power transistors, induction heating, and industrial-inverter apps, the PS9505 and PS9305 series isolated gate drive optocouplers report high common mode transient immunity, high output currents, and fast switching times. The devices place a GaAlAs LED on the input side and a receiver integrating a photo diode, signal processing circuit, and a power transistor on the output side. Specs include peak output currents of 2.5A maximum and 2A minimum, a switching speed of 0.25 ms, under-voltage lock out protection with hysteresis, and a common mode transient immunity of ±25 kV/μs minimum.
