This highly integrated FM/FSK UHF transmitter IC is for U.S. ISM band spread spectrum and global applications. The CMX017 transmitter IC combines a VCO modulator and RF power amplifier for direct baseband-to-RF operation over 865 to 965 MHz. The integrated power amplifier driver and power amp provide 20 dB of gain adjustment and deliver up to 20 dBm (100 mW) output. A companion integrated FM/FSK double conversion superheterodyne UHF receiver IC also is available for U.S. ISM band spread spectrum and global applications. The CMX018 features a high receiver sensitivity, 7 dB overall noise figure, and wide dynamic range to provide high performance for low power, 865-to-965-MHz receiver applications. CMX017 and CMX018 transmitters are housed in 28-pin SSOPs.
