Designed for short-range wireless datacommunication tasks, the 433.92 MHz TX5000 hybrid transmitter is designed for European applications while the TX6000 is for use in North American markets. The pair of devices use surface-acoustic wave (SAW) technology to provide compliance with regulatory requirements. The transmitters also provide a choice of on-off keyed (OOK) or amplitude-shift keyed (ASK) modulation. Both devices support RF data transmission rates as high as 115.2 kbps. The transmitters also include a low current sleep mode designed to prolong battery life. Rugged ceramic-metal package dimensions are 0.38" x 0.43" x 0.08" and 0.28" x 0.40" x 0.08", respectively. Pricing for the transmitters is $8.00 each/1000.
