Designed for use with National Semiconductor's Diversity Receiver Chipset (DRCS), the SF1115A and SF1133A intermediate frequency (IF) surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters boast of as low insertion loss, small size, and low cost. The DRCS was designed for use in GSM, EDGE, PCS, DCS, AMPS, DAMPS, and PHS wireless base stations. Considered as reference designs, the filters, when mated with the DRCS, are claimed to provide the performance and cost targets required by the wireless market.
