Offered as the newest member of the X9520 family of programmable mixed-signal products, the X9525 integrates functions for laser-diode modules in fiber LAN and Gb Ethernet applications. These include bias-current control, modulation control, and voltage-level sensing. The device combines two, non-volatile digitally controlled potentiometers, 2 KB of EEPROM, and an addressable function.
