Claiming to deliver the best voice quality to voice-over-packet (VoP) equipment makers, the OCT9400 series media gateway modules employ the company’s carrier-grade OCT6100 echo cancellation and OCT8304 packetization/aggregation devices. The modules offer densities up to 672 voice channels with 128-ms tail echo cancellation on all channels. Voice features include conferencing, G.729AB, G.723.1, and T.38, tone detection, message playback, and caller ID. They are also available with MEGACO (H.248) pre loaded.
