PLL Synthesizer Is Part Of 3V RF Chipset

Completing a four-chip set that provides all of the active RF functions needed for several wireless applications in the 1.5 to 2.5 GHz frequency range, HPMX-5002 IF modulator/demodulator includes a VCO, prescalers, phase frequency detector, down-converter (to a second IF), limiting amplifier chain, data slicer, and received signal-strength indicator (RSSI) circuits with greater than 75 dB range. The chipset is well-suited for applications in cordless telephones, WLANs and PCS.
