With its selectable division ratios, an upper frequency of 800 MHz and low power consumption, the UPC1511TB divide-by-2/4 prescaler is well suited for frequency division applications. Specs include circuit current of 3.5 mA, output voltage of 0.3V peak-to-peak, and a supply voltage of 3V. Housed in a miniature 6-pin SOT-363 package and available on tape-and-reel for high volume automated assembly, the device is priced at $1.44 each/12,000.
