Advanced anti-collision capabilities are built into the MCRF250 RF identification tag chip, which provides a high-performance solution for 125-kHz passive RF ID multi-tag applications. With the MCRF250 tags, a reader can interrogate 10 tags or more in the same reader field with a read range like that of single-read tags.The chip's anti-collision features enable many new and emerging applications for RF ID tags, including parcel shipments, industrial laundries, anti-counterfeiting, warehousing, airline baggage control, and factory automation. The MCRF250 RFID tag chip, as well as all other 125-kHz devices in the firm's microID family, are field-programmable without contact, enabling users to stock blank packaged devices.
