Single-Chip ADSL Hits CPE

Claiming to be the industry’s first single-chip ADSL customer premise equipment (CPE) solution, the BCM6345 integrates all ADSL modem functionality, networking elements, and expansion capability into a single CMOS chip. These include a full-rate ADSL transceiver and analog front-end with support for Annex A, B and C, MIPS32 core, and a 10/100 Ethernet MAC/PHY with Auto-MDIX, an MII bus, and a USB 1.1 transceiver.
