Designed for digital consumer products, the TC90101FG three-line comb filter front-end processor provides analog video luma and chroma separation, multi-standard color decoding, and picture-improvement functions, such as sharpness, LTI, and CTI. The filter's digital YCbCr output provides an interface to back-end digital video processors and includes a 10-bit a/d converter for composite video or luma input signals. Other features include support for resolutions up to 525p and 625p, frequency detection of 525i, 525p, 625i, and 625p, and an over all power consumption of less than 500 mW typical.
