The ZEST-200 hybrid switching fabric and ZEN-QM200 traffic manager are highly integrated semiconductors designed for 10 Gb/s network systems. The ZEST-200 implements an architecture that can scale up to 1 Tb/s of true non-blocking switching capacity, the company claims. The ZEN-QM200 traffic manager is said to be the industry's first device to offer fully predictable traffic management for IP/MPLS networks. It is protocol independent and provides a full suite of configurable algorithms that support QoS differentiation for any data protocol, at line rates of up to 10 Gb/s. It also implements an industry-standard CSIX interface both in ingress and egress and can be used with companion devices from the company or any third-party devices. ZETTACOM, Santa Clara, CA.
