Addressing low-rate wireless connectivity applications, the ADF7020 and ADF7025 transceivers and ADF7012 transmitter are described as complete, low-power radio systems on a single chip. The ADF7020 low-IF transceiver operates from 433 to 464 MHz and 868 to 928 MHz at data rates of 0.3 to 200 Kb/s, FSK of 0.3 to 64 Kb/s, and ASK. Receiver sensitivity is -117.5 dBm at 1 Kb/s FSK, -110.5 dBm at 9.6 Kb/s FSK, and -106.5 dBm at 9.6 Kb/s ASK. Current consumption is 19 mA in receive mode and 22 mA in transmit mode. The ADF7025 zero-IF transceiver provides bandwidths of 433 to 464 MHz and 862 to 928 MHz. The device is an integrated FSK/GFSK transceiver, designed for compliance with FCC 15.247 specifications. The ADF7012 VHF/UHF transmitter operates from 50 MHz to 1 GHz and integrates a fractional-N PLL plus a voltage regulator. It operates at 2.3V to 3.3V with a power consumption of 10 mA at 315 MHz. Output power is programmable in steps of -16 to +14 dBm, with 0.4 dB steps.Prices for the ADF7020, ADF7025 and ADF7012, are $3.99, $3.99 and $1.50,each/10,000, respectively.
