Heralded as the first fully integrated 802.11n chipsets with 4x4 MIMO and transmit beam forming, the QHS family promises guaranteed wireless bandwidth. The devices exploit an advanced architecture that includes vector mesh routing, two or four concurrent bands, and throughput link rates in excess of 1 Gb/s. The QHS1000, QHS600, and QHS450 chips also promise to overcome interference and dead zones, allowing users to reliably deploy wireless HD, HDTV, and IPTV services at any point in the home over a plug-and-play network. Features include a 4x4 MIMO radio/transceiver, Tx beam forming, concurrent dual-band modes, vector mesh networking, and integrated power amplifiers delivering up to 18 dBm of output power, low-noise amplifiers, plus switches, baluns, and diplexers that constitute a front-end module.
