The CVCO55CX-1000-1000 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) operates at 1 GHz with a control voltage range of 0V to 5V. Of note, the VCO features a typical phase noise of -135 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset and, reportedly, exhibits excellent linearity.

Available in an industry-standard 0.5" x 0.5" SMD package, input voltage is 5V with a maximum current consumption of 30 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 0.05 MHz and 0.05 MHz/V, respectively, and second harmonic suppression is -10 dBc typical. Target applications include digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations. Pricing for the CVCO55CX-1000-1000 starts at $38.21 each in volume.
