High efficiency and high power density are hallmarks of the PM100 Series open-frame AC/DC power supplies. Designed and safety-approved for either commercial or medical applications, the compact 2 in. x 4 in. PM100 Series provides 100 W of power at convection cooling, making them suitable for designs where space is at a premium and there is little or no airflow. Full power is provided up to 50°C, with derated power from 50°C to 70°C. Single outputs, ranging from 5 V dc to 48 V dc, are provided from a 90-132 V ac or 180-264 V ac autoranging input. Leakage current is specified at 150 µA maximum at 264 V ac. No minimum load is required for start up or to maintain listed specifications. The supplies offer efficiencies of up to 90%. They achieve a MTBF of 270,000 hours and are RoHS-compliant. Overvoltage and overcurrent protection are standard. Worldwide safety approvals are completed to both EN60950-1 and medical EN60601-1 standards. The PM100 Series meets EN55011 and EN55022 Class B for radiated and conducted EMI. Standard models start at $35.95 each in OEM quantities with delivery from stock to eight weeks. PROTEK POWER NORTH AMERICA INC., Hudson, MA. (978) 567-9615.
