Emerging as a fourth-generation component, the FTR-G1 ultra-miniature automotive relay is 28% smaller than its third-generation predecessor, the FTR-P3. The relay measures 13.7 mm x 6.6 mm x 13.5 mm and features a unique pin layout that contributes to its reduced size while retaining sufficient isolation distance for easy PCB layout. It is a PCB-mount, 1 form C single relay that can handle 25A loads at 14 Vdc and specifies a maximum noise level of 60 dB. Other features include coil power of 640 mW; conductive spring, high-temperature molds and coil wire; a two-piece assembly process that requires no insertion molding; and RoHS compliance. Price is $1.80 each/10,000. FUJITSU COMPONENTS AMERICA INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 380-0059.
