The Mean Well RPS-300 open-frame printed-circuit-board (PCB) switching power supplies from PowerGate LLC feature a 300-W forced-air rating with 20 CFM and 200-W convection-cooled operation.
Open-frame printed-circuit-board (PCB) switching power supplies from PowerGate LLC feature a 300-W forced-air rating with 20 CFM and 200-W convection-cooled operation. The Mean Well RPS-300 medical power-supply series consists of five single-output models that include an active power-factor-correction (PFC) function. Output voltages range from 12 to 48 V dc; input voltage extends from 90 to 264 V ac. Operating temperature ranges from −30 to +70°C. A topology with synchronized rectification delivers efficiencies of up to 93%. Standard functions include a Power Good signal, remote sense, and 12-V/0.5-A auxiliary output. Among the protection offered is short circuit, overload, overvoltage, and overtemperature. “Green Mode” operation is enabled by remote On/Off control and 5-V/1-A standby output to achieve no load power consumption of less than 0.5 W. The supplies comply with international medical safety regulations (EN60601-1 3rd Edition/MOPP level) with low leakage current (300 µA at 264 V ac) and suit BF-rated, patient-contact equipment.POWERGATE LLC
