Designed for telecom and networking applications, the 3.3V, S1562/1564 PECL voltage-controlled crystal oscillator is available from 77.76 to 155.52 MHz in 14-pin, all metal resistance-welded DIPs. Frequency stabilities of ±20, ±25 or ±50 ppm are available over a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and 50 ppm are available over a range of 0°C to 85°C or -40°C to 85°C. Pullability can be specified at ±50 ppm absolute pull range. The S1562 has a single output while the S1564 has complementary outputs. The VCXO is designed to meet the performance requirements of ATM/SONET/SDH, communications processing and fiber channel applications. Prices range from $35 to $70 each/10,000.
