Designed for measuring vibration on lightweight structures, miniature electronic devices, and a variety of small objects, the Model 27AM1 ISOTRON accelerometer is an extremely small, adhesive-mounted device with integral electronics. Measuring just 6.4 mm x 10.8 mm x 4.8 mm, the device resides in a hermetically-sealed, titanium case weighing 1.2g. The accelerometer, which employs the companyÕs PIEZITE Type P-8 crystal element, offers high resonance frequency and a wide bandwidth from 0.3 Hz to 20 kHz. Two full-scale ranges are available: ±500g for the 27AM1-10 (10 mV/g) and ±50g for the 27AM1-100 (100 mV/g). Operating temperature range is from -55ûC to +125ûC.The accelerometer incorporates an internal hybrid signal conditioner in a two-wire system that transmits a low-impedance voltage output through the same cable that supplies the constant-current.
