A new aluminum enclosure has been lauded as a simple low-cost solution for housing electronics and electrical devices. The CH/BC enclosure is suited for applications such as test and measurement devices, switch boxes, prototype units, and junction boxes. Each case is said to be easy to assemble with four self-tapping screws. The folded U section top and base parts are fabricated from a 0.06" thick aluminum sheet. The top part of the CH/BC enclosure is painted black and includes a hooded section to protect the connectors and controls. The base is painted metallic silver and also forms the front and rear panels. The CH/BC enclosure comes in eight sizes ranging from 2.40" x 4.64" x 1.89" to 8.779" x 4.64" x 3.31".
