Targeting home appliance products such as microwave ovens, dish washers, central vacuum systems, and air conditioners, the CHP electromechanical relay boasts of a high switching capacity. Rated at 15A, the device is available with 115 Vac or 220 to 240 Vac rated coils and either plug-in solder or quick-connect terminals.
Maximum switching voltage is rated at 250 Vac or 30 Vdc and maximum switching current is 20A. The relay has a mechanical life expectancy of 5 x 106 operations and an electrical life expectancy pegged at 1 x 105 operations at full rated load.
Operating temperatures for the device range from -25°C to 70°C at 45% to 85% RH. Supplied with single-pole single-throw (SPST) not-on (NO) contacts, these switching devices are cUL and TUV approved, and all plastic materials meet UL 94V-0 requirements. Depending on coil voltage, price is from $2 each/1,000.
