Capable of performing under hostile and high vibration conditions, as well as under temperatures of -40°C to ±125°C, the OEM P4050 barometric pressure sensor numbers among its typical applications on/off highway vehicle management systems, air fuel mixture compensation, weather stations, aircraft cabin pressure measurement, and altitude compensation. It also functions in marine environments, withstanding both water submergence and salt-spray due to a hydrophobic filter barrier. The sensor has a pressure range of 5.8 to 15.95 psia and operates on a 5 Vdc power supply providing a 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc output. And the sensor’s lightweight composite housing design allows it to withstand high shock and electromagnetic noise conditions. The device mounts either with a wiring harness or a user-supplied bracket assembly. KAVLICO CORP., Moorpark, CA. (805) 523-2000.
