Packaged with a contemporary cosmetic appearance, the IB and IS series pushbutton switches incorporate an elastomer membrane seal between the actuator and the switch body and a flat front-panel seal. They offer protection to IP 67 and salt-spray resistance to IEC 512-6, test 11f. For additional protection, an optional silicone cover boot is available.Both series are single-pole momentary switches with double-break action. The IB series require no mounting hardware and snap-fit into a 13.6 mm cutout in panels from 0.8- to 1.8-mm thick. Contact ratings are 400 mA at 32 Vac, 100 mA at 50 Vdc, or 125 mA at 125 Vac. Other features include an electrical life of 500,000 cycles at full load, a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, and an operating temperature range of -40ûC to 125ûC.
