Six DataTwist 350 Category 5e cables are now available bundled using the company's Banana Peel design, which affixes the six cables to a center spline and thereby eliminates the need for an overall jacket. This approach reports several advantages: the ability to pull six cables at once; no jacket or outer binder to strip; a smaller overall design; improved bend radius; and a smaller conduit. Each cable in the bundle is UL-verified to meet or exceed TIA/EIA Category 5e component standards and exhibits stable electrical performance to 350 MHz. They are available in plenum- and riser-rated versions with 24 AWG, solid bare copper conductors, rip cords, and flexible jackets that are sequentially marked on one leg at two-foot intervals.
