A new ceramic resonator oscillator has been launched as a lower cost alternative to SAW oscillators for use in wireless applications. The I1041 tunable oscillator covers a frequency range of 600 to 6,000 MHz in bands. It also boasts improved phase-noise performance compared to SAW oscillators. The I1041 comes in a SMD package measuring 0.75 mm x 0.75 mm x 0.19 mm high. Operating temperature ranges from –40°C to +85°C. Pricing is $38 each/1,000.ILSI AMERICA, Reno, NV. (888) 355-4574.
