Diaphragm Valves Handle Reactive Fluids

Sept. 9, 2010
For use with low- to medium-viscosity reactive fluids, i.e., cyanoacrylates and solvent-based adhesives and coatings, the Model 475 Series diaphragm valves require minimal maintenance.

For use with low- to medium-viscosity reactive fluids, i.e., cyanoacrylates and solvent-based adhesives and coatings, the Model 475 Series diaphragm valves require minimal maintenance. They offer an adjustable stroke to precisely dial-in the necessary shot volume and are available in three configurations. First is the standard Model 475 with an UHMW polyethylene diaphragm, acetyl copolymer fluid body, and a hard-coated aluminum air cylinder body. Second, the Model 475-T valve is similar to the standard Model 475 except it employs a Teflon diaphragm and fluid body with a hard-coated aluminum air cylinder body. Third up, the Model 475-SA uses an UHMW polyethylene diaphragm, a passivated stainless steel fluid body, and a hard-coated aluminum air cylinder body. All three configurations actuate using the Model 345 valve controller. Tridak, Torrington, CT. (860) 626-6700.
